Miro Supra-Link
Extend the Miro PQ45 beyond traditional power quality measurements and investigate high-frequency electrical disturbances from 2 kHz to 150 kHz. Supra-Link brings supra-harmonic visibility into the same practical monitoring workflow you already use.
See what conventional harmonic measurements may miss.
Supra-harmonics are high-frequency electrical disturbances occurring above the traditional harmonic range and below frequencies normally addressed by conventional electromagnetic interference standards. As electrical networks incorporate more switching electronics, these emissions are becoming increasingly relevant to power quality investigations.
Miro Supra-Link connects directly to the Miro PQ45 expansion port, adding supra-harmonic measurement without the complexity of a separate instrument. Data can be reviewed alongside standard PQ45 measurements, helping engineers connect high-frequency activity with voltage conditions, equipment switching and changes in load.
High-frequency disturbance can become a system-level problem.
Supra-harmonic emissions may travel beyond their source and affect protection, communications and connected assets. Capturing frequency, magnitude and timing provides evidence for a more focused investigation.
Unexpected protection operation
High-frequency currents may influence RCDs and other protective devices, contributing to nuisance trips.
Communication interference
Power-line communication, smart metering and ripple-control systems may experience signal disruption.
Heating and asset ageing
Additional losses may increase heating in transformers, capacitors, cables and insulation.
Network resonance
Network capacitance and inductance can amplify selected frequencies beyond source levels.
Reliability concerns
Sensitive electronics may malfunction, lose efficiency or behave unexpectedly.
Audible noise
Transformers, reactors and magnetic components may hum or whine with switching activity.
See dominant frequencies now and understand their pattern over time.
The live bar chart provides an immediate view across the monitored frequency range. During an investigation, it shows which frequencies are present and how their magnitudes respond when an inverter, charger, drive or other load changes state.
For longer-term work, logged data is presented as a spectrogram heatmap, making it easier to identify persistent bands, intermittent emissions and the exact periods when disturbance levels changed.
Two configurations for field work
Select voltage-only monitoring or add a current channel when the investigation requires more information about emission sources and propagation.

Variable speed drive controller monitoring
With Supra-Link installed on the supply side, a field capture identified a peak of approximately 0.45 V at 2 kHz, together with additional peaks at 4 kHz and 52 kHz.
The spectrogram showed how the frequency pattern changed as the controller moved between light load, heavy load, off and on conditions. The engineer could see both the severity of the disturbance and its relationship to equipment operation.
