Management Team
Managing Director
Angelo cofounded CHK Power Quality Pty Ltd in 2014 and pioneered Australia’s first, Class A Power Quality Analyser. Angelo has over 30 years’ experience in engineering, with recent 10 years in Power Quality. Angelo has conducted many Power Quality investigations and provided recommendations for mitigation.
Angelo trained as a design engineer, and later held senior management positions within engineering organisations where he improved their engineering capabilities and sales.
Angelo holds a Bachelor of Engineering in electrical engineering with honours and a Bachelor of Science in physics both from the University of NSW, Australia and a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Sydney, Australia.
Sales Director
Johnson is a cofounder of CHK Power Quality Pty Ltd. In a career that spans more than 40 years, Johnson appreciates the challenges that managers, engineers, and technicians face in delivering projects, and in particular, when concerning power quality and condition monitoring.
Johnson started out as a maintenance engineer and progressed to various other roles in operations, project management, network planning and sales. He helped set up an electric utility that catered to high technology industrial customers who required a high level of supply reliability and power quality.
Johnson holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Carbondale, USA and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Bath, UK.
Technical Director
Adam is a cofounder of CHK Power Quality Pty Ltd and has over 25 years’ experience with product development, developing products for the Electrical and Rail sectors. Adam focuses on bringing new technologies and smart designs to market with an emphasis on product customisation.
Adam trained as a design engineer, gaining much experience and knowledge in firmware, software, electronics, and production. He also project managed the development of innovative products to market including Low Voltage (LV) and Medium Voltage (MV) instruments.
Adam holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from the University of Technology, Sydney, Australia.
Operations Director
Ajeesh is a cofounder of CHK Power Quality Pty Ltd and has over 15 years of industry experience, and in his current role, is responsible for the production, procurement and operations management of the business. Ajeesh takes a client-focused approach, and appreciates the importance of delivering products and projects ‘on-time’; an attribute Ajeesh fosters within his team.
Ajeesh started his career as a plant maintenance engineer and progressed to various roles in service, production, and commercial within various engineering organisations. Ajeesh brings his experience in total quality management to CHK Power Quality.
Ajeesh holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communications from Visvesvaraya Technological University, India and a Diploma in Electronics from Nettur Technical Training Foundation (N.T.T.F), Bangalore, India.
Sales Engineer
Andrew commenced his professional career at CHK Power Quality Pty Ltd in November 2019 in his current position. Andrew focuses on providing technical advice to ensure the solution meets the customer’s application. Andrew keeps in regular contact with customers, providing after sales support. Andrew is a product specialist and provides customers with product training.
Andrew’s interests in power quality analysis, and asset condition monitoring is motivated by his desire to provide customers with technologies that improve system reliability and reduce operating costs.
Andrew graduated with a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering, Diploma in the Engineering Practice with Second Class Honours, from the University of Technology, Sydney, Australia.
Service Engineer
Navneel joined CHK Power Quality Pty Ltd in November 2018 in his current position, and has over 10 years’ experience in various technical roles. Navneel services CHK Power Quality products, and provides technical support with equipment rentals, instrumentation current transformers and power quality investigations. His interests include modern smart grids and distributed generation systems with a focus on power quality issues.
Navneel started out as a service and maintenance technician, progressing to various other roles in administration, conflict management and sales. Navneel utilises his experiences to implement systems and processes to increase the productivity of his department.
Navneel holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from Western Sydney University and a Diploma in Science and Engineering from the University of Technology, Sydney, Australia.
