Pole Mounted Sensor

The LIQ35 is a reliable pole mounted solar powered line fault indicator (with battery backup) for use on three phase three wire, and SWER overhead line systems. The LIQ35 utilises a fault detection algorithm that adapts to network parameters and requires no configuration.

  • Continuous fault indication;
  • Fault types: Permanent faults; Transient faults; Outage events; Closure events; Self-clearing faults (fault current without loss of voltage);
  • Patented adapting fault algorithm;
  • Dual magnetic field sensors for improved fault capture;
  • Voltage sensing to accurately identify outages and trips;
  • Time and data stamped event recording;
  • Recognition of line voltage return;
  • Two visual indicators displaying line status and most recent fault;
  • Inrush restraint to ensure only real faults are reported;
  • SCADA protocol compatible (DNP3); and
  • Advanced programmable options for maximum flexibility.
